This is a short policy because this site does very little with cookies — we'd rather tell you that plainly than pad it out.

What we actually use

This website stores exactly one thing in your browser: whether you've chosen light or dark mode, using your browser's local storage (not a cookie in the strict sense, but the same idea — it stays on your device, and we never see it). It's used only to remember your preference on your next visit and isn't sent to us or anyone else.

What we don't use

We don't use analytics cookies, advertising or tracking cookies, or any third-party scripts that track you across this or other websites. Because of that, this site doesn't show a cookie consent banner — the only thing it stores is strictly functional, and UK rules (PECR) don't require consent for that.

If that ever changes — for example, if we add analytics in future — we'll update this policy and add a proper consent option at the same time.

Clearing it

Your light/dark preference can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site, the same way you'd clear cookies.
